Awesome Sports Facts
More proof that the regular season means nothing in the playoffs.

The Vancouver Canucks scored a grand total of eight goals in the seven games of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals. The previous low for an NHL playoff series that went all seven games was in 1945, when both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings scored nine goals in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Keep in mind that Vancouver led the NHL in scoring in the regular season, and this is the post-lockout NHL, where scoring is at an all time high.
